This research blend combines BPC-157 (5 mg) and TB-500 (5 mg) in a single lyophilized vial, giving laboratories two well-studied peptides in one standardised format. Contexx Research supplies the BPC-157/TB-500 blend in Canada for in-vitro research on cell migration, cytoskeletal dynamics and growth-factor signalling.

Research overview
BPC-157 is a 15-residue peptide that has been studied in cell culture for its effects on fibroblast outgrowth and migration. One 2011 study linked these responses to FAK–paxillin signalling in rat tendon fibroblasts [1].
TB-500 in this blend is full-length synthetic thymosin beta-4 (Tβ4), a 43-amino-acid, actin-sequestering protein. Classic cell-biology work showed that it binds most of the monomeric (G-) actin in resting leukocytes, which makes it a key regulator of actin polymerisation [2]. Later reviews describe Tβ4’s roles in cell migration, angiogenesis signalling and tissue-repair models in animals [3].
Researchers studying overlapping pathways, such as cytoskeletal remodelling and migration assays in fibroblasts or endothelial cells, sometimes compare the two peptides side by side or in combination. The blend simplifies preparation for that kind of comparative work. Note that the two components are not separated in the vial, so assays that need to attribute an effect to one peptide should use the single-compound products.

Storage and handling
BPC-157/TB-500 blend ships as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) blend in a single sealed vial. Dry material is far more stable than material in solution, so keep it in its dry, sealed state until you need it.
- Store unopened vials of BPC-157/TB-500 blend at −20 °C, dry and protected from light. Let the vial reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation.
- Prepare stock solutions in a solvent suited to your assay, label them with concentration and date, and keep them at 2–8 °C for short-term use.
- For longer storage of solutions, divide them into single-use aliquots and freeze them; avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
- Handle with gloves and eye protection, following your laboratory’s standard chemical-hygiene practice.
See our guide to storing lyophilized peptides in the lab for more detail.
Quality and testing
Contexx Research independently tests every batch it releases. A lot-specific COA for BPC-157/TB-500 blend isn’t linked on this page yet. For questions about testing, contact info@contexxresearch.ca.
We don’t list purity figures in this description; the lot COA is the reference for identity and purity. Researchers should confirm identity and concentration with their own analytical methods where their protocol requires it.
